The PLASTBAU® 5 Wall is produced by our H-200 production line. Composed of two EPS panels spaced from each other by built-in reinforcing steel bars. It’s our advanced technological solution of insulating stay-in-place formwork, with no thermal bridges. It allows the quick and safe realization of anti-seismic and high energy-saving, passive buildings.

The width of the panels is standard, 120 cm, while the height can change depending on the project, with the possibility of differentiating the internal height from the external one. The weight of the panels is such as to be moved by hand, 39 kg for a panel H 300 x 120 cm, two people are enough to move it without additional space for lifting machines. The panels are laid side by side to produce a rigid structure ready to receive the concrete casting and create an armored concrete structure.
Depending on the project, the formworks can have different thicknesses, to ensure a greater level of thermal insulation. The internal panel is generally 5 cm thick, whereas the outer one can change from 5 to 30 cm. The PLASTBAU® 5 is a complete building system, designed to facilitate installation and the entire construction phase, reducing construction times by 40% compared to traditional systems. It is the perfect product to build affordable houses, villas and buildings, with high quality material, passive standards and at an affordable price.
Our PLASTBAU ® H-200 machine can produce up to 50 square meters of PLASTBAU® 5 wall per hour. The plant is divided into the part of iron processing, that is the preparation of the steel ladders which would be put inside the two panels and form the structural base for the concrete casting and the moulding of the EPS panels, directly welded with the steel ladders to create the final formwork.
It appears to be extremely efficient for the construction of zero energy buildings as indicated by PASSIVE HOUSE or MINERGIE HOUSE, as prescribed by Directive 2010/31 / EC which provides that by 31 December 2020 all new buildings must be nZEB (nearly Zero Energy Building).
